Roselle Park Middle School: This Blog was created by the Roselle Park Middle School Library Media Center for the students of Middle School as a venue to share their love of reading and the arts with their community. Tuck Everlasting is a story about an immortal family. Mae, Angus, Miles, and Jesse drank from a magic fountain that gave them immortality. Mae and Angus Tuck looked the same for 80 years because they drank from the spring. Then Winnie Foster and a stranger found out their secret. The stranger wants to find the spring water so he could become immortal too.
The Tucks found out Winnie Foster knew their secret so they kidnapped her. They just put her on a horse and brought her to the Tucks house. They did not do anything bad to her. The Tucks told her not to tell anyone and not drink from the spring. The Tucks were going to let her go the next day.
