My Favorite stoty that we

My Favorite stoty that we read was "The lady or the Tiger" by Frank R. Stockton. In the story there is a princess and a young man that fall in love. The king belived in poectic justice. Poectic justice is when the man who did somthing wrong he would choose his own fate. So every time a man didm somthing wrong the king would take him to an arena and every one in the town would watch. the man would have to choose between to doors that look the same. In one there would be a very hungry tiger and in the other there would be a beautiful lady. if he choose the tiger every one would think he was guilty and he would die. If he choose the lady then every one would think he was innocent and he would be married. In the story the priencss and the young fall in love and the kind finds out. so he takes the young man to the arena with every one in town watching. The princees was very upset because she didn't want the man she loved to die, but she didn't want the man she loved to be happy with another woman. o he looked up at her with wide eyes so she knew he was asking her which door to pick. So she lifed up her right hand just a little. So the yopung man went to the door on the right and opened it. Thats the end of the story.

I liked it because I love stories that leave you wondering. I like that you have to know the chariters to know whats going to happen. Just like you have to know the princess to know if shesw going to tell him the lady or the tiger. I also liked that it was well put together and left me guessing on what was going to happen. Thats why i liked the lady or the tiger the best!
