I learned many things by reading "Number The Stars" by Lois Lowry. Obviously, the most important thing I learned about was about the Holocaust. Before reading this book and discussing it I didn't really understand this topic so much. Now when someone asks me what the Holocaust is, I can tell them! Another thing I got from this book was how heroic people can be. Risking your life for someone takes alot of courage and it made the book interesting for me. Lastly, I enjoyed the friendship part of this book. The reason I enjoyed this part so much was because it was easy for me to relate to. In school I have alot of really close friends. In conclusion, this is all the things I liked, and could relate to, in "Number The Stars" by Lois Lowry.
