I met my grandma onces, she came a couple of years back around when i was 10. She was thin, and tall. It felt great to meet her because she was my only blood grandma, my other grandma passed away before I was born. She lives in the middle east and I never saw her anymore. Although I do speak to her on the phone. Her past was very hard, she was raising 4 boys without a husband to help her. She is more of the love type, than remember and hate. Someday I wish I can see her again, and hopfully soon.

The old people I know
The old people I know is my neighbor—a woman.
She died when she was 103 years old .at that time I was in my middle school.
When she died I was very sad because she was my admirable people in my life.
In my mind she was very kind and warm-hearted. She liked to help others when they were in trouble. For example , she always donated some money or some books or some new clothes to the charity and some poor areas .
She like reading even though she was very old . she always said that books can gave us pleasure and made us young .
And she was a optimistic person as if she were no worry . she always taught me somethings I can not learn from our books. And she told me young people should learn a lot of things from elder people .because elder people live a more long time in the world and experience too much about this world . they have more judgments about world affairs.
And she can make her family warm and happy because she gave lots of concern and did lots things for her family . also she was loved by lots people.
So she was my most admirable people in my life.
Even though she has died , I love her all the time.

Who Should Be Responsible for Our Old People?
As the result of birth control and improvement of medical care, supporting the old has become an issue of China today.
Because of the different culture and tradition, supporting the old is different from country to country. For instance, British is a developed country and the problem of supporting the old is solved very well these years. The government takes a series of measures to solve the problem and also pays a lot of money for the old every year in order to make them live better.
In China, because of its tradition, the old people are mostly supported by their children. But our government and our society are taking measures to support the old.
As the development of economy and society is so rapid that we believe the system of our country to support the old would be perfect one day.

I thought The photo that it's one of the most ordinary sights in our daily lives, an old couple holding on to each other on the street. If we stop and observe, we will most likely to notice that love is actually all around. he said "Love is a beautiful thing, and so is getting old. That's because in either way, love as sturdy as the above couple's is not going to fade, and nothing - not age, poverty, or death can reduce their love. With old couples, they no longer need to speak their mind. It is not hard to see why, as they know each other so well and for so long that they already know what their lover needs".
And i have a dream that when i become old,i would walking down with my husbant.and in afternoon,we would run together.You will think that it's so easly,but i think it's hard to keep.

My Dear Old Grandmother
My grandmother is 83 years old. She is a lovely lady. She is tall but thin, though, she is healthy. She is very lenient with many wrinkles on her face. When she smiles, I feel very warm as if I were in the warm spring, sweet and soft.
My grandmother has six children, three boys and three girls, which makes her and my grandfather work very hard to bring them up. Tough as they are, they are very happy. They are so kind parents that they tried their best to let their children get rid of the poor conditions , have a good future and then live a happy life. Now, my three uncles and two aunts have been dependent, and my grandfather was passed away 2 years after I was born, which makes my grandmother feel very lonely. If only I could with my grandmother when she is lonely! I feel comfort when she is happy. I think I should often go and see her as many times as I can. She lives with two of my uncles now. She goes to bed early and gets up early in the morning every day. She seems to be busy every day, because she always like to do something. When she finishes housework, she would sit down, take the book and read with her glasses. I can always learn many things from my grandmother.
Last year, I remembered, when my mother and I went to see her, she was ill, when she saw us, she was so happy that she got up immediately. I am sad, because when she is ill, I can’t look after her.
I hope all of the senior citizens in the world are happy and healthy!

From the old, the relationship between mother and the daughter in law is the hardest one to deal with.
My mother and my grandma got on well with each other before my aunt married. My grandma had done a bad mistake, and my mother was very angry. She could not forgive my grandma, and asked my sisters and brother and I not to call her and tall with her. We did not know how to do. My old uncle
I think that elderly people have thr possible advantages of living in a special residential house. We human beings have the ability to adjust to the environment we are in.
Here I want to mention something about my uncle. He is 62 years old. My cousins have moved out for living in the centre city for years while my uncle and aunt live in the countryside. However,he lives a happy lifein his modern house built by the native workers,which is paid by my cousins. The house looks very comfortable,and it really is. He prefers to talk together in the small shop with a group people who are nearly the same ageeveryday. They talk something about what happened in the village recently and some current political situations and sports or so. You can not imagine that how they are happy and leisurely. He's so proud that he is good at debating. When it's time for lunch and supper,he returns home and cooks everything he want to eat. Sometimes he likes hanging around in the street,or playing mahjiang in the exclusive house for elderly people. He walks almost one hour per day as the exercise time,so that he can keep a healthy body. He always smiles to everyone when talking.he is a generous,gentle and kind-hearted person,so he is not mean to other and tries his best to help them,and so he recieves the respect from others. He talks the hard time in his age when he was young,especially when we are sitting aroud the fire in winter.
He doesn't need to mix with the complitive society or relationship. It's the time for him to live a peaceful and happy life although he is austere. Much money is saved as he loves dearly his sons and daughters,because he knows that the money is not easy to earn.
You can not say that being older means that you are falling behind the tendency or you are not needed. They can improvethemselves as the free time adds. So,they can do what they want and keep studying instead of being a mop.

He is an old man who hasn’t got any literacy and is an idiomatic poor peasant, he has stepped into his 69 year but without his wife, in fact, he hasn’t married to a woman. Maybe he is lonely but not

I don’t know how to express my felling to this but I respect him with my deepen emotion to his numerous contribution for others’ happiness.

The old people I know who learns in his life. It is common that the people don’t want to do anything when they are old, especially learning. Because most of them fell weak and lonely, and think that is no meaning and value. But this person is different. He is very old, but still learn all the time. He learns history, geography and so on. He often says: this is my interest and I must learn the knowledge or I will be out of date, so he talks to us that lifelong learning is almost a must in today’s knowledge economy, and if you want to stay competitive in society and function well as members of society, the best way is to keep on learning, learning different things, trying to equip yourselves with the new knowledge and new skills that are useful at your workplace. So he is so knowledgeable, he knows the global well.
We all respect him very much: he sets a good example to us. He is my idol in my dairy life.

I know a old man in my town ,he lives along ,but he did not feels lonely because he always play with many people .He is the oldest person in the town ,he good at Calligraphy and drawing .Every morning, he will take a cage to a park ,at there he can talk with many people about the bird ,the country ,the life ,the famous person or other interesting things .H will have a rest at noon .By the good rest , he can play bajiang with other old person in the afternoon .After that he will back home to draw a picture and practice .writing .His life is very leisurely I think .He have two sons and one daughter, they will come back home on Spring Festival .It is the happiness time for him .But I think the sons and daughter should pay more time to stay with the old man though he never say he feel lonely .But I know he just do not want to make them feel he is their burden .So give some time for your parents and talk with them they will feel more happy in their later time .

Furtherly, old people can play with others in the nursery home ,which is better than they just stay at home and do nothing. But someone are against that ,they figure what old people most need is spiritual care .Family are their spiritual home ,so they should live at home .
In my view ,I prefer the latter opinion .My grandmother is an example .She is 80 years old now ,but she is very well .She lives at home now ,and she always says that seeing us and living with us is her most happy thing .She can feel warm from family members .If possible ,I’m eager go to visit her . Taked my neighborhood’s for example. She lived in a special residential house. She felt happy to live in it. Besides, many elderly persons live get together here, they always chatted and sometimes played games get together. The most important thing was that she didn’t make her children worry. So her children could keep their mind on doing their business.
Besides, the other elderly person who also lived in the special residential house said that she lived in here was happier than lived at home. Because when she lived at home, her children were worried about her safe. They didn’t agree her to go out lonely, but they had no free time to go out with her. Now at least she could walk around the park lonely in the special residential house and she didn’t feel dreary. In the other hand, here had the nurse to take good care of her in every time. So she liked live in here.
So I think the elderly persons lived in the special residential house not only good for themselves, but also good for their children. They could feel happy to live in here. They had distinct advantages here. Do you agree with me?

My old grandmother
My grandmother now is about 75 years old .You can't image that she can walk flexibly,she can do cooking,she can do washing ,she can do cleaning,and any other odd things.Amost all kinds of housework she can do. what will make you seprise is that her hair is black ,like most of young people.In a word ,she is in her good health .
In my memory ,I have never seen my grandmother do farming work ,even though we have a lot of land .But what is my grandmother's work? Does she is a lazy woman? The answer is of couse No.
Since I and my brother was born,her task was stay at home and looked after us. Took bath for us ,cooked for us,washed clothes for us and many a lot of things .After we grown up,she looked after my uncles' children just like when she looked after us,day after day ,year after year.

Caring our old parents.
Being filial to parents is one of the Chinese traditional virtues. As we all know, when people get older, they begin to fear loneliness and emptiness and they really need the company of their children.
There is a big family in Liuzhou . The grandpa is over 100, and the grandma is over 80. Both of them are health and longevity. I think the secret of it is their children′s responsibility .They try their best to look after their parents.
Our parents have ever taken so much pains to bring us up and we can never figure out how much they have sacrificed for us. So , we should take good care of them when they become old.

The elderly have three children,a son,two daughters and two daughters have not been living Memory according to the elderly,she is basically what Health and disease did not so far have seen a doctor twice. It is understood that the elderly do not diet food,chicken.duck fish,meat and all kinds of vegetablea are ready to eat ,do not pay attention to hot and cold. Now able to eat a bowl of nice each meal, and from time to time are quantilative slowly,and never overating.
Under the careful care of their families, the elderly physically quite tough,can take care of themselves now live,or even wash their own.
