Our class is reading 1984, and it seems so true how cameras are everywhere today in our society. Have you ever read the book? Manny A San Diego, CA USA

The book is a bit confusing
The book is a bit confusing and its very intresting so far and it seems to be ahead of its time. Its not a book that I would read on my own time so its cool to read something new. Hopefully it gets more intresting.

I have read the book in the past and found it very interesting. The way the party can manipulate you, and make you believe things that are obviously not true. The way the thought police work and how well they do their job would have been very scarry.

I really liked this book, It
I really liked this book, It opened my eyes to a whole new world of thinking, as much as reading this makes one think that they are enslaved by their government and technology, the opposite is just as true. Reading this book makes one realize that to BE free one must THINK free. And as long as you can keep your mind free there is no situation at which an outside source (for 1984 the 'PARTY') can break down your will.
I am enjoying reading this
I am enjoying reading this book, even though its a little cofusing to me, some parts keep me very interested. The main character is a interesting person and has a long life to live. I'm ready to read the rest and see what happens.
George Orwell
I think 1984 was very ahead of its time when it was written. George Orwell has become very influential in today's society and I admire him for writing 1984. I am only on chapter 5 and so far it is very intriguing. I can not wait to finish the book and find out what is going to happen to Winston. I would like to read more of Mr. Orwell's books. I also would like to read what other students think of 1984.

I'm only in Chapter 3, I would love to hear from some other countries and hear how they like to book so far.

I am fond of reading,
I am fond of reading, especially I like English and American classical literature. Unfortunately have no much time for reading, thus read whenever have a free minute (usually on my way to work and back home). Ebooks have become my good friends - http://www.ebook-search-queen.com/ (ebook search engine)
