Hello

HI, This is Barbara Lee from Taiwan, I read about your project on the net, I am so interested in the e-pals project. I am not sure whether you would like to have it with our students (about 13 years old). If you are interested in it, please e-mail to me at my e-mail address. They learn English for about 6 years. I am so appreciated your time.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yes, Hsiao Ting

Hello Hsiao Ting,

Thank you for writing a comment on our blog page.  I didn't see your email address but you can email me at my school email address: cpauchnick@sandi.net

Please let me know what your students are involved in and what type of literature they are reading. At the moment we are beginning the book Night by Elie Wiesel. We are studying the Holocaust during World War II.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Candace Pauchnick

Very impressive blog!

Hello, this is Adora. Thank you for ordering the books! The reading of literature is an amazing experience, and seeing how writing has shaped our world is eye-opening. As a published author myself, I know this first-hand! I hope that you have a great time on your writing--and reading--journey!

Thank you, Adora Svitak.

Thank you, Adora, for posting a comment on my literature blog. I'm looking forward to reading your books, Flying Fingers and Dancing Fingers.  As you say, literature can shape our world and I'm sure you have had a very positive impact on many people.  I'm very happy to have met you through my blog pages.

Sincerely,

Candace

Reflection

This experience has been a lot better than just answering questions and reading a book, because we actually get to read what other teens around the world have to say about the same literature we are reading. Its interesting to see how other people react to different peoples problems and what they think of it. Another persons opinion is a lot more valuable than just reading a book and answering questions. This experience is definitely worth my time and I would choose this over answering questions.
