Our Class

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Welcome to our 4th Grade Reading/Social Studies Class.

We are two classes, Mr. Vogt's and Mrs. McMoran's classes. Mr. Vogt is our Science and Math teacher and Mrs. McMoran is our Reading , Writing, Spelling, Language Arts, and Social Studies teacher.

This is our schedule:

From 9:00 to 11:30 Mr. Vogt's class switches to Mrs. McMoran, and they return to their homeroom at 11:30. Mrs. McMoran's homeroom students switch to Mr. Vogt at 9:00 and return to her at 11:30 until the end of the day.

Our Reading class is packed with activities and we get really busy. We are using the Open Court Reading Series. We read one story a week and work on different skills, as well as writing conventions, and the Writing Process.

Part of our daily homework is to read the weekly story everyday to practice our fluency and comprehension skills.

We are very excited because we are going to start working in laptops creating different projects to help us understand more difficult concepts and also to become 21st century learners ready to face the new challenges of tomorrow.
