What would you do if 19 girls named, Katherine, dumped you?

Hey I’m Colin and apparently this happened to me. I hear Katherine IXX say we are the problem. Head in my hands I head upstairs to think. I find my parents in my room they must be concerned. I tell them I need some time alone to think.

Then my best friend Hassan finds out that Katherine broke up with me he comes to my room and tries to help me feel better. He thinks I’m a genius even though I’m really a child prodigy. Hassan then tells me we’re going on a road trip. I know he’s trying to help me forget the nineteenth Katherine the nineteenth, but I didn’t feel like going on a road trip.

Imagine having to take care of a house, when its one door, leads to hundreds of rooms. Imagine this door can go through time. Imagine never going through the same door twice. Charmain, who is an average book-loving girl, is forced into this strange predicament.

In House of Many Ways, Charmain, instead of getting a relaxed stay, meets a stray dog, who is unusually helpful, and a gawky apprentice Wizard. Together they roam the house, and find out that Charmain’s uncle, who happens to be a wizard, has more trouble than meets the eye. Then Charmain, who isn't what I'd call brave, turns out to be the only one who can help. She has to face a monster who can plant eggs in people without noticing. Eventually they will die. She's up against a lot and she'll have to become as brave as the heroes in her books.

Tyler Miller, a high school senior, was an average guy, the invisible nerd boy. That was until he got caught spray-painting the school. After he becomes known as a “bad boy” to the students and teachers, he just seems to do worse and worse. Is father constantly thinks Tyler will do something else, or endanger is job. But at least it gains him attention, as Bethany Millbury, the queen bee at school, has started to notice him and his newly formed muscles. However, when something horrible happens at a party and Tyler, with his reputation gets blamed for it, things are way out of control. Suddenly everything is too much, and Tyler doesn’t know if he can cope with it and his dysfunctional family. He sees only one choice, but is it the right one?

High School student Chance Taylor is no normal kid. His mother left when he was young and he lives on a boat with his dad. Chance’s Dad is a war veteran, who served in the Vietnam War. Chance is pressured at school but more importantly he is worried about how he and his dad will afford dinner. This changes one day when he meets a strange man who has mysteriously noticed Chance’s running track he follows every day. Chance soon gets a job delivering bizarre packages filled with material he cannot look at, but he questions if he should be doing this, although it allows him to eat. Soon he is required to bring the packages to his own home, and he becomes suspicious and cannot trust anyone anymore. All he knows is the pay is good, but not the price he will pay is even greater.
