Honoring our Veterans!


Today is Veterans Day, where we honor those who have served, those who are serving, and those who are preparing to serve our great country and defend our rights, which are given to us through the great Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights.

We the people of the United

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the United States of America. Those are the words that started our great nation and made it what it is today. All of are rights have been granted to us from the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution has twenty – seven amendments, the first ten of those are known as the Bill of Rights. The Constitution also consists of articles, which for example talk about the Legislative Branch, the Judicial Branch and the Executive Branch, those are just three. There are seven articles that appear in the Constitution right after the Preamble. After the articles the twenty-seven amendments follow. The Constitution first talks about the way the government shall be ran and how to do everything in the Legislative Branch. After the Legislative Branch, the Executive Branch is stated and it talks about who runs how the presidency is voted on. Then the Constitution stats what the president can do and who is appointed by the president. The Cabinet is the president’s workers that help him on different jobs. Those are just the first three articles of the Constitution. The Bill of Rights is the first ten amendments of the Constitution. They are the following, Freedom of Religion, Press, and Expression, Right to Bear Arms, Quartering of Soldiers, Search and Seizure Trial  and Punishment, Compensation for Takings, Right to Speedy Trial,  Confrontation of Witness, Trial by Jury in Civil Cases, Cruel and Unusual Punishment, Construction of Constitution, and Power of the States and People. The Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States make us who we are today and without them we wouldn’t be able to go shopping are play video games, and some people don’t realize it but we couldn’t do anything if it weren’t for freedom.

I think that everybody in

I think that everybody in the United States should be thankful for the troops that serve in the army and in the military and all that other stuff. They should be thankful for our freedom and that we can go to sleep at night and know that there are people some where fighting for our freedom. When I grow up I want to go into the army because I really want to fight for our freedom also I would also like to protect people one of the sites that I like to visit is go army.com I like to visit it because it helps he understand what I need to do to get into the army. It is great that we have people that fight for our freedom and know that even if they die they died with honor. It is not only the army that we have to be thankful for but all the people that are in the service even if there job isn’t that significant.  The Bill of Rights is also important and the Constitution of the United States because they both contribute to the things that we can do and our rights, the Constitution is the rights that we have as citizens of the United States. The Bill of Rights is a list of rights that are considered important and essential to a country. The purpose of those bills is to protect those fights against infringement by the government. The term “bill of rights” originates from Britain, where it referred to a bill that was passed by Parliament in 1689. There are 12 bills of rights in the original copies. The most important right is the right of religion and freedom of speech. Even if there are people who are just going into the army we should still honor them because what if they go over to were they are assigned and don’t come back how do  you think that would make you feel if you brother or husband die and right before he left he wasn’t honored because he wasn’t in the service yet.

Yes, I know my rights , we

Yes, I know my rights , we have 27, and here are a few, congress shouldn’t be able to tell us what religion we are going to practice, and we should have the freedom of speech, another, police cannot come onto personal property and go through private things without a warrant, and we have the right to have guns in our homes. The Constitution of the United States says: We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty, for ourselves and our Posterity. Do ordain and establish the Constitution of the United Sates. I also think that people should respect and be happy and thankful for what they have, and for our veterans. If anyone is looking for something for the military there is a site called goarmy.com, it is great for anyone who wants to join the army. Both of my grandfathers and one of my uncles’s fought in wars. My grandfather on my mom’s side fought in the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. My grandpa on my dad’s side fought in World War 2. And my uncle on my dad’s side fought in two war tours, and The 1st Gulf War. What is one miraculous thing is that they all lived and two of them are still living, my grandfather on my mom’s side and my uncle on my dad’s side are the two. Also the Bill of Rights lets us have our freedom, without them we couldn’t be able to go to the movies, shop, go out, and just do whatever we wanted to do, the Bill of Rights gives us the privilege to do that sort of thing. Everyone should be happy that we have such privileges.


I am very thankful to all

I am very thankful to all of the Veterans that have fought for and protected our country.  They are very honorable. I am also thankful for all of the rights that we have. In 1789, the First Congress of the United States proposed to the state legislatures 12 amendments to the Constitution. Many arguments were against it. The first two amendments were not ratified. Amendments 3 through 12, however, constitute the first ten amendments of the Constitution, known as the Bill of Rights. We have twenty-seven amendments that are given to us by the United States Constitution. We also have articles, which have sections that talk about that article more and explain it better, or give examples. I think the most important right given to us by the United States Constitution is the Freedom of Religion, Press. It states that Congress shall make a law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise of religion. Congress shall not make any law abridging the freedom of speech or of the press; or the rights of the people peaceably to assemble. I think it is important because without the freedom of speech or religion people would not get to say what they want to say or practice the religion they want to practice, which would be bad because people deserve that right. Once again, I am glad that we have such honorable troops fighting for our country. Happy Veterans Day.

Kind of, I don't really know all of the rights but her is one I know really well it is the right to bare arms. The first 10 amendments out of the 27 amendments and those first 10 are called The Bill Of Rights. The right that I think is the most important is the right to bare arms because if not we couldn't carry our gun with us of even own one. So with that right we have something we can have to protect our property or ourselves so we can live or have something another day. It is also cool to have a gun and get to go hunting if you like hunting. It also gives people the ability to get out and enjoy the wild outdoors. There are also 7 paragraphs that are in the constitution that are very important too. The 7 articles just stat how we should run our government and who should run the government and stuff like that so that make them very important. The last thing is it is veterans day and we should say thanks to all the veterans you know because there are troops out there now fighting for our freedom so the next time you see a veteran say thanks to them. The troops are just doing the best thing possible thing for our country because they are fighting for our rights, freedom, and everyday things that we get to do we get to do because of the troops. Thanks for all you guys do, this is for the veterans that read this.

We US. Citizens have the critics on both left and right have complained that America in the 1990s is awash in rights talk. No political debate proceeds for very long without side, or both, resting its argument on rights property rights, welfare. The United States Bill of Rights is the name by which the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution are know. They were introduced by James Madison to the first united states congress in 1789 as a series of articles, and came to effect on December 15,1791 when they had been ratified by ¾ of the United States. Thomas Jefferson was a proponent of the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights will not let Congress from making any law respecting an establishment of religion or they won't5 let them free exercise thereof, forbids infringement of the right of people to keep and bear arms, and they wont let them the federal government from depriving any persons life. Liberty, The property, without due process of law. In federal criminal cases it requires indictment by grand jury for any capital or infamous crime guarantees a speedy public trial with an impartial jury composed of members of the state or judicial district in which the crime happened, and they will no let them do double jeopardy. In addition the Bill of Right states that the enumeration in the Constitution, certain right, shall not be construed to deny or disparage other retained by the people, and reserves all powers not granted to the federal government to the citizenry or states. Most of these restrictions were later applied to the states by a series of decisions applying the due process clause of the fourteenth amendment. I really want to thank all the Veterans, and people who are getting ready to go serve our country. Thanks to you guys we can live free.

  I didn't know all the 27

 

I didn't know all the 27 amendments but I did know some like the right to bare arms, cruel and unusual punishments, and the right to vote at age eighteen. The other ones are freedom of religion, quartering of soldiers, search and seizure, trial and punishment, right to speedy trials, trial and jury in civil cases, the power of states and people, Judicial limits, choosing the President and Vise President, slavery abolished, citizenship rights, race no bar to vote, statues of income tax clarified, seniors elected by popular vote, liquor abolished, woman's suffrage ratified, presidential terms, presidential limits, presidential vote for District of Columbia, pole tax barred, presidential disablement and succession, limiting congressional pay increases.

In my family I have many relatives that have either served or is serving in the armed forces my aunt Peggy is in the air force stationed in England. My aunt Julie just retired from the military she served in the Iraqi war . Then there is my dad who served in the Iraqi war too when in the army and is now in the Air Force and is wanting to work on helicopters and stuff like that. My dad has told me funny stories about the war and has told some vary sad ones too.

Later in life I want to serve in the air force and stuff like that and maybe go to a war to meat other people who are serving in the great country we call home and just work on helicopters and airplanes.
