There is a very special place that I like to go and this place would be behind my Mom's house. It is a place were I can just get away from Paxton or anyone else and fill and ease. Whenever I'm feeling down in the dumps and need a place to relax or if I just want to go throw the stick or ball for the dog, that would be the first place that I would go, and do that. The backyard of my mom's house is also where my Mini Motocross track is too, so whenever I want to go and hit a few laps on it, I just go out there and have a blast. Sometimes during the summer we will have bonfires back there as well, we will just sit next to the fire and tell jokes or stories about how our day went, that's always fun. I also like to go down to our little creek that's over are backyard fence and just sit there and listen to nature, and enjoy life for all it's worth, and I also throw the stick for my dog down there and she will end up getting all wet and then I will have to go lock her up in her kennel for the night. Sometimes at night I will just go out back and go look at the stars and imagine my life if I were somewhere else, but most of the time I just would like to stay in Ovando and appreciate the life I all ready have. Sometimes during the day I just like to go out back and walk around the track, I like doing that because most of the time I don't really get any exercise so I go out there as much as I can and walk, jog, and sometimes run the track to try and stay in the somewhat shape I'm in. That's my special place.    

My special place is my trees right next to my house. I like to build alto of tree forts and I like to play cops and robbers with my friends. I also like to play air soft wars with everybody in the trees because the y make grate hiding places and when somebody runs by you and they don't see you and then you jump out after they run by you and you shoot them. I also like to play paintball wars with my friends and my brother and that is really run except for when you get shot in the fingers or in the back of the head and you are not wearing a hat. I also like to go camping in the trees with my friends and we always go and run around in the dark for like an hour and the we usually tell scary stories and then tucker usually freaks out then we usually go and run around for the rest of the night. I also like to go and try to run across the little bumps in the swamps that are right behind the trees is really fun when you are with your friends because if they fall it is really funny to watch. I also like to play games in the trees with my friends because when there is water in the ditch it is fun to see who can jump the farthest. One time Justin, Tucker and I where trying to see who could jump the longest part in the ditch and Justin tried it and he got half way across and then just fell straight into the water and it was cold that day. Then tucker tried and he made it to the bank of the other side of the ditch and then he fell back into the water, then I tried and I made it just as far as Tucker did then I hurt my ankle and we thought that is wasn't that good of an idea because the barbwire fence was right on the other side of the ditch like fife feet away.

My special place, the place I like to go when I want to be alone, is probably up on our huge hill. It is really flat there, so I can ride my horse up there and take him for a run. There are no gopher holes and very little rocks so it is really fun to ride my horse there. It is a pretty long way from my house, so nobody can bother me there. If I am mad at my sisters or family and I just want to be alone I go up there because a can ride, which is my favorite thing to do and it makes me feel better. There are three huge trees there but the rest is open field. On the bottom side of the top of the hill, there are a lot of trees. Where the trees start, the flat ends and goes down a hill. There is a really fun trail there with fallen trees that I like to take my horse and jump him over them. At the bottom of the hill there is a stream so I can let my horse drink there. There are willows down there and the ground flattens. It gets flat and a little farther on there is an old cabin. Wild raspberries grow there and they taste good so I eat them. I like to go down there because it is very peaceful. I can just sit there and think about what I need to think about. My dogs usually go with me so I can play with them. Those two places are my favorite places to go because it is fun to go there and I enjoy being alone. When I am ready to go home I can take a different way around through the trees or go back up the hill.

My special place is quiet, peaceful, relaxing and most of all special to me. At my special place I can get away from all the stress in my life and enjoy the sounds of nature. At my special place you can see the whole valley. Sitting down at the top of a fairly large hill you can see elk crossing the valley, cows grazing, birds flying, hear the dogs barking, rabbits running, chipmunks gathering the food they need for the winter. When I sit down at the top of the hill I can let my think without even trying because when peace and reality meet peace is always the winner and there for your mind just thinks on its own you are in total  relaxation. Atop of this hill the wind blows in your face, rocks tumble down if you make the slightest movement and without even realizing it feels like heaven and nothing else can bother you. At this place I can get away from anything, such as my brothers or anything that would be bothering me on that day and just let nature deal with my problems. If I feel like I need to go and enjoy something while I can I just walk up to the peak of the hill and enjoy whatever it is while I get the chance to because you never know when that chance may get taken away from you. This place is special to me because it makes me think how lucky I am to be on this earth, being able to grasp the incredible things I can do compared to those with disabilities that can’t do the things that I can. Also when you can sit down and think about the things that we, as humans take for granted every day. And I just wish that I could do something about it.

      One of my special places is the big tree by Mamoos house, sometimes when I get bored I just walk over to it and start climbing. Most of the time I will just sit there and think about the day and how it went, and if I did something wrong that day then I would sit there and think about how I would change it. Also when I’m bored I just go over there to hang out, and to just get away from the craziness of the ranch.

         Another one of my special places is where my two dogs, Spot and Cactus, are buried. I just like going up there and sitting by each of their graves and talking to them. I don’t usually go up there because it is so heartbreaking because a Mountain Lion or a Bear dug up Cactus, but once in a while I will. It is such a beautiful sight up here on the hill, because it looks over the whole ranch, and a little beyond.  

       My third special place is where my horse, Snap, is buried I just like to go up there and listen to nature and all the gophers talking to each other ,I also like going up there with my parents gopher hunting  because up there in all that open area. It is just so fun because all of the gophers are really tame up there because e they hardly ever get shot at. And also up there on the other side of the hill is this creek which runs into a big pond, sometimes I go up there to the ditch, catch fish and release them in the pond. My grandma also caught a turtle up there and I let him go in that pond. I’m glad that we are lucky enough to be able to go out around our house and just listen to nature, knowing we are safe, because not many kids get to do that. All of these places are special to me because they all are on my ranch surrounded my people and things I love .And those are my special places.

My favorite spot to spend time by myself would be up at the shop. You get to mess with stuff you usually don't get to use every day. To also get away from people that I see a lot. And when I go up there I can bring my motorcycle and work on that like clean out the air filter change the oil and stuff like that. I go there when I get bored because theirs always something to do up at the shop. I also like to go to the river and swim but that only happens during the summer. Usually when I go there its to hang out with friends. I go there to get away from working and to see my friends during the summer and to jump off the bridge. But some times I go there with my brother and I hang out with him in the summer because he works a lot and we don't see each other a lot during the school time so its a good time to hang out with him. And the last place I like to go is hunting because you get to be by yourself and listen to nature. It gets really exciting when the deer start to move around you. You also get to watch nature because I've almost had a bird land on me and I thought that that was really cool. Its also fun to watch other stuff to, I've had time to really notice my surroundings that I usually don't notice. It lets me really enjoy my time out in the outdoors. The outdoors can change a person because once I when hunting I wanted to go outside a lot more and be active than just sit inside and do nothing. It is so much fun outside when you know all you can do. Its also a time to relax when I go hunting its almost like a nap.

My favorite place to go is down to the ranch. I like to go there because it is where all the fun is,and it is where the fun stuff to do is because my house gets really boring after a while. Right now I am starting a filly I like to do that because it is just me and the horse it is fun to see how much better she is getting, she gets better every day. My second favorite place to go is out in the tree stand it is fun because I am out there by myself and I can think about how I am doing in school and how I might get a zero tomorrow because I am out here hunting instead of being in doing my school work. I get to think about my life and my future and what I might by with my money or what I want for Christmas. At my first place I like to put her in a a snafle bit and then I leg her up so she cant run away from me and I pet her all over and just Waller her so she gets a little more gentle when I try to do something with her she is really hard to catch her I have to rope her but then when she is caught. When I go hunting I just sat up in a tree stand and look for deer and when one that I want walks by I will just take my bow and off the hook and be very quite and I will draw and shoot and hopefully get it. My third place is when I am out in the meadow roping sick calves I love to rope so I like when we get some calves that are sick because me and my dad get to go rope them he usually ropes them around the neck and I get them in there feet and my dad has to get off and doctor them.
