Who's Who In American History - 5th Grade - May 12, 14, 20, or 22
Students research Americans throughout various eras in history and present clues to a partner class...can you guess Who's Who?

Texas Animal Challenge - 2nd Grade - April 3rd and April 13th
Students will research an animal in Texas and present clues to their partners.

KES Butterfly Garden - 3rd Grade - Dates TBA
Interact with Environmental Science expert Tracy Mulligan as your students learn about the life cycle and adaptations of the butterfly.

Second grade classes in Texas are invited to join us for this Science challenge! Each participating class will attend two 45 min. video conference sessions. Students will research a Texas animal and present 6 clues to their partners. Students will have 1 week to conduct research then we will reconnect to guess the mystery Texas animals!

There are two sessions for the Texas Animal Challenge 2009.

April 3rd and April 14th at 9 AM-9:45 AM OR April 3rd and April 13th at 1 PM - 1:45 PM

Who's Who In American History

All 5^th Grade classes in Hays CISD are invited to participate in this project based on 5^th Grade Social Studies TEKS. Classes will use provided research materials to create brief presentations including clues about famous people from various eras in American History. Partner classes will meet via videoconferencing for a social studies challenge to guess the American heroes!
