SAINT NICOLAS OR SANTA CLAUS?

Christian Orthodox church doesn't know about the institution of Santa Claus. There  are Saint Nicolas and Father Christmas, though. The tradition of giving gifts is assigned to Saint Nicolas, who is celebrated on 19th December. Giving gifts for Christmas can be connected with the gifts Christ received from the wise men. If you want to know more about this, read the article under the TRADITIONS AROUND THE WORLD.

We would like to hear what you've got to say about this.
