LET"S HAVE FUN
Submitted by speakup on Tue, 2007-10-02 17:06. Publicsome atmosphere from our classThe main thing when you begin to work as a teacher, is your approach to the kids and to the process of learning. They're very sensitive areas, especially when the kids are of different age as ours are. You have to find a sort of balance. Each of us, teachers ,does it in his or her own way and gives our best. But do we all succeed in that?I realised one thing: You shouldn't be just a good teacher, but also a good psychologist and a good organiser. Very early, in my first year of teaching I realised: THE MOST IMPORTANT IN ALL OF THIS IS TO HAVE FUN.

The Way We Are project
Submitted by speakup on Fri, 2008-09-26 08:20. PublicWe have just begun a new project called The Way We Are. The aim of the project is to make students from around the world closer to each other. By exchanging e-mails, students will have a closer look at evryday life of their peers, their routines, habits, likes/dislikes, their environment and culture. For the time being, we've got two partner schools; one from Colorado, USA and one from Brazil.Interested? Contact us at: speakup@epals.com.
And, if you want to see what our students learnt about their e-pals from these two countries, follow the link: http://speakup-thewayweareproject.blogspot.com
SAINT NICOLAS OR SANTA CLAUS?
PublicChristian Orthodox church doesn't know about the institution of Santa Claus. There are Saint Nicolas and Father Christmas, though. The tradition of giving gifts is assigned to Saint Nicolas, who is celebrated on 19th December. Giving gifts for Christmas can be connected with the gifts Christ received from the wise men. If you want to know more about this, read the article under the TRADITIONS AROUND THE WORLD.
We would like to hear what you've got to say about this.
