Chelsea Connecting to China

Chelsea was one of the key students who tested the Internet connections with Professor Chen. She verbally talked, typed chat messages, and did a lot of smiling as she tested Wiz IQ and Skype. She was bursting with enthusiasm. Yesterday she said, "This is so fun!!!"
This screen shot photo was taken by Professor Chen from his computer during the test session and he sent it to us via Skype. You can see Chelsea's winning smile and Professor Chen in the smaller picture at the bottom.

Video Conference Practice Session

Yaodong and I have been practicing with our equipement and trying out the Skype and WizIQ programs to see which ones work best with our computers. My students were having a lot of fun talking to Yaodong while he was at home. Our plan is to have our students join together in a live video web conference next week.

Keen Anticipation for the Web-conference

Students from GXUT and PHHS will soon start a web-conference led by Ms Pauchnick and Mr Chen as a supplement of the epals Boston convention. What preparation should be made to facilitate this online conference? What questions do you would you like to ask your epals from GXUT and PHHS?
Feel free to add your comment.Your contribution is appreciated.
