China and U.S. Web Conference PowerPoint Presentation - June 3 & 4, 2008

It is with deep appreciation to Professor Chen Yaodong and his dedicated students, along with my faithful students, that we were able to have this educational and meaningful opportunity for this web conference between our two schools, Guangxi Polytechnic University in Liuzhou, China, connecting to students from Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, California, U.S.A. To view the PowerPoint presentation that shows photos of all the participants in the conference please click on this link: http://henry.sandi.net/staff/cpauchni/ChinaConf08.ppt Thank you, everyone, for participating. I especially thank those who sang for us. This was truly a very special day! Candace Pauchnick

This is beautiful!

In the age of Information, computers are playing more and more outstanding roles in people’s life. As the technology of the Internet goes deeper and becomes popular, teaching with the aid of the Internet has become a new tendency in the circles of education.Students in my class find e-learning goes far beyond language practice and the exchanges online has greatly stimulated them in the learning process. We are very much appreciative to all our American friends who had made this come true.

We look forward to more online interactions in the near future.
Yes,the online singing made our e-conference so different.I wish they could sing more songs, too.
