Below are quotes from my former students who were involved in e-learning.The best evaluation on education sometimes is from students themselves rather from educators.They know themselves better.

Wu Yuyin: This course gives me a bridge which leads me to the real English kingdom, and becomes my important enlightenment……Once I receive a letter (she meant an email.---yaodong), I will think about it before I embark on writing. I feel my mind has a lot of sentences dancing and shining. My epals are to be appreciated…….E-learning
teaches me how to communicate. When I communicate with a foreigner,
I should know beforehand his or her culture. So,I would not hurt anybody.
I have an epal who is a black American .He minds everything concerning
with race…..E-learning gives me a profound impact. I like writing
e-mails and chatting. I always try to be kind and friendly. Although I
can’t speak to them ,when I type the words into the screen I feel y
emotion, my caring, my love transform through the line and reach people
right on the other side. And I certainly feel rewarded. Their kindness
,their love gives me the true pleasure and integrate my life.

Cheng Chunhua: (After the e-learning course) I realized that we
can study English by ourselves. We can learn by ourselves. The teacher
becomes an indicator (She meant facilitator) to supervise us. We can
doubt what he said and find enough evidence to argue with him. The book
is not the only tool any more…..I make a friend and we share every
interesting thing with each other; on the other hand, he can point out
my mistakes in e-mail and correct them. I learn from the mistakes,
modify them and use them correctly.

3. Qin Tingting: It seems that the (e-learning) teacher open a
door which leads to a new world of English learning. After I study this
subject, I feel learning English is no longer boring. It is colourful,
vivid and imaginative. With the variety of Internet resources, my
interests of learning English is aspired again.

4. Liang Yingshan: I made some foreign friends by some foreign
BBS. Olim is Russia, 23 years old. He teaches me a lot of web language and
told me that I can ask him if I meet problems. He said he will help me
as possible as he can…..He is busy with his work while I am busy
with my study, neither of us have enough time to write a snail letter for
each other. Email is quick and convenient…..Raja is another good
foreign friend of mine. He is from Indian. He is 25 years old this year.
He is a lovely boy. When I told him my English he asked my Chinese name
because he is interested in China……He said that in his hometown
every family has a family God, every child must follow their family
God. When I told him I had met some problems in my study, he would
encourage me not to lose heart. ”Learn from the past, plan the future and
enjoy present.’ He said to me………Internet is very useful. It
makes us get closer and closer, make the world smaller and smaller, and
make our life more and more convenient.

5. Lei Liping:I can compose everything I want to tell my reader, whatever food, music, sports, feeling, travel, anything I am pleased to
share with my reader. Actually, my weblog is like a mirror of mine, it can tell
people a lot about me…..the e-learning class extremely gave me a
hand at learning English. The most important was not what the teacher
taught us, was not that ICQ,E-mail, MSN, etc. What was really important is
method how to learn, how to widen our horizen. The experience touching
with the net told us that learning English not just from class and
books….. I do love my e-learning .It is sorrow to say good bye to him.
The e-class is over, but the learning never ends. I will keep e-learning myself.

6. Zhang Shaomeng: I had started my e-learning earlier than the
Internet and EFL classroom I took this semester. However, the class did
change some view of mine on the e-learning.I at last found out that
what is more important about the e-learning class is to communicate with
students all around the world, rather than learn by oneself. In other
words, interaction is essential for us to learn a foreign language
because that is that is what language is for----communication……I began
to talk to foreign friends using tools like MSN messenger and
Skype.After some random visits to BBS,I found it a helpful place to communicate
too. And all these experiences are even fun. You can even talk with
him/her face to face with the help of video-conference. That must be and is
really an exciting experience…With this tool, I am going to make
friends with even more people all around world and get to know all the
interesting culture which they are bred in. This way, I shall become a
real resident in the earth village.

7. Li Huobin: By using the chatting software, I can talk freely with my
friend without hesitation and discuss something we cannot talk openly.
Before using Internet, I always chat with my friends by phone and it is
expensive. By using the Netphone I can chat for free. but actually I have
overspent my time on it. At times when I surfed online I forgot my time!
I cannot believe it can happen on me. When I found someone I like I
can spend a whole day talking with him.Now I am studying in UK and I still make use of online resource in English.It is a life-long process for me.

8.Sun Ningbiao( a teacher of English himself now working in a vocational college in Guangdong,China): E-learning it is a very efficient and feasible way for me to keep up my English level.
And i really hope this would be a choice of my students, because i know that they really need this since some of them have not even met one foreigner in their life.Given this into consideration, who will believe that they have learned a foreign language for more than 6 years! With the online resource,students can communicate with foreign students 'face to face'.Isn't it a miracle?
