About Us
Here are some facts about our school and our town:
- We are located in West Hartford, Connecticut.
- Bugbee School has 382 students.
- Our grades go from Kindergarten to grade 5.
- There are 20 people in our class.
- It can get to 100 degrees here (only 1 or 2 times a year…) and below 0 here too.
- We have instrument lessons for cello, violin and other instruments.
- We start school at 8:30 AM and end at 3:20 PM.
- Our school year goes from September until June.
- We have a big library.
- We have 18 classrooms in our school.
- We do not have a dress code.
- At our school, we have art, gym, music, library and instruments. We call these classes “specials”.
- In our town we have about 61,000 people.
- Our school’s symbol is a bee.
