Collaboration with South Korea

  Pupils from the 7th grade in Israel have collaborated for the the whole year with pupils their age from South Korea using ePals.They learned a lot about both cultures but mostly while meeting  each other by  using Skype in a video conference.

Our Video Conference

We used Skype in our video conference.

Skype is a software application that allows users to make telephone calls over the Internet. Calls to other users of the service and to free-of-charge numbers are free, while calls to other landlines and mobile phones can be made for a fee. Additional features include instant messaging, file transfer and video conferencing.

Hi!
My name is Oriel and I learn at Bar-Lev Junior School. I learned That in Korea there is a Children's Day and there is a holiday for budha. I saw what food they eat: rice, soop and chicken.
It was fun to speak on Skype!
