Daejeon is situated in South Korea midway between Seoul and Busan.

It is a central hub and an important town.

I am living on the ground floor in one of these apartments. Its like being in the bottom, and the middle, of an anthill.

The first week I couldn't find my way back to a street, or find the apartment when I came home.

They all look the same, and my apartment name is not visible from the paths.

Its amazing. People all live in these 25 level high-rise buildings all next to each other.

It is my first experience of concentrated high rise, (at a very low level) and I don't really like it.

I feel very hemmed in and claustrophobic, but  this is my apartment for the duration of this job.
